I just read the Taliban has forced Islamic law on northern Pakistan. This could easily produce a great deal of fear...
Does anyone know of examples of fundementalisms simply dying off, from once militant lives, to basically imploding culture.
Our (US) approach does not seem to be working.

Tue, February 17, 2009 - 6:32 AMIn times of change, things stratify. chiristian fundementalists are just as afraid as Islamic ones... of the changes they are very far from. We are supposed to discern the fear, and say no to it, but I also believe that it is the respoonsibility of those of us who 'go ahead' to learn to be so centered that we no lonbger fear the fear... and can hold a new center that is strong enough in love we can help them change.
